Special Purpose Machines (SPM)

Automatic SPM Machining Machine

Custom SPM designed for Samand brake caliper brackets, performing 2-surface face milling and 7-spindle simultaneous drilling with dual-jaw hydraulic clamping.

This machine was engineered specifically for machining Samand automotive brake caliper brackets. During the machining cycle, two seating faces of the workpiece are milled and seven holes are drilled simultaneously using two multi-spindle heads.

The component is produced in left-hand and right-hand variants. The machine is engineered so that by swapping the fixture clamps—which feature two jaws and a hydraulic clamping system—it can be easily retooled for either left-hand or right-hand parts.
